Nah. You said something about software that you do not trust, and I
replied saying something about software that you apparently (I get this
information from the mailing lists thread you mention) do trust,
implicitly stating that I do not understand why you distrust one piece
of software while trusting the other.

Besides, email doesn't work with threads really, it works with replies
and references.

I cannot post a reply to your message in this "thread" and have it
appear in the other one without hijacking one of that thread's
messages.

It would be very inappropriate to reply in a thread that does not have
the message that I am replying.

I guess having message-ids and not thread-ids makes mail software even
more hatable than it already is.
