Unfortunately, it wouldn't appear to be an icon editor. You're expected to
have a separate program for that.

There's also a program in the examples called "Sketch", but it's a structured
object editor, it doesn't seem to have any bitmap support.

Thanks for the idea, I'll check out what I find. There's a couple that look
like they might do the trick, though I'll probably need a separate program
to convert from TIFF to ICON and back again.

AUGH.

I can't really hate an icon editor for refusing to work on anything but square
images, but as it happens I really need to be able to edit 11x3 and 11x6 TIFFs
and keep them that size ... so I'll stick to hating Mac Paint.
