I'm not going to rant about giving a product the same name as a protocol.
If a calendaring program has to be iSomething, then iCal is as good a name
as any.

What I am going to rant about is the stupid, stupid user interface decision
that trips me up every sodding time I use iCal.

Adding an event to iCal is something I do very often. Adding a calendar is
something I do very rarely indeed. iCal has a big plus button in the bottom
left corner, which is OSXese for "add something". What would be the most
useful thing for this to add, boys and girls? And what did Apple decide that
it should mean?
