I get this beautiful new wireless router from compusa. Let me tell you
the reason for purchasing this router. The Belkin representative was
actually in compusa and sold me this telling me it had the best range
out of all the wireless routers. He was right the range is not bad.

However, upon loading the easy install program into OSX it immediately
crashes "Error code 1000". Amazed by this I decided to try to use the
"Alternate Install Instructions" to
set up the router.

Basically, this thing has some sort of web server built in, a pretty
cool feature. So, I set
the wireless router up and use my favorite mac OSX web-browser to
connect to it. Surprise! It doesn't work under my favorite web-browser,
which happens to be safari(Gee, and I thought that it was popular on a
mac).

So after thinking it was my fault that this stuff was not working for
about 10 minutes I try to load it up in mozilla firebird. Bingo. It
works.

The router is a decent piece of hardware, the software could have been
written better by
a team of monkeys.
