I hate that iPhoto consistently, reliably crashes whenever I import
photos on my G5; yet when I import the same photos into the same library
(both are on an external disk) on my G4, no problem. Well, mostly.
Sometimes it crashes, too, in the same way, but nothing near as often as
the G4.

When it crashes, it forgets everything I've imported during the current
session, so I habitually quit and restart iPhoto after every couple of
rolls just to avoid importing hundreds of photos again, and having to
click the stupid triangle thing that means "don't show me hundreds of
thumbnails all at once while I'm importing, pinhead" for each roll.

I hate that I've submitted crash report after crash report on this,
and I know the problem is in QuickTime, but two QT updates have not
relieved the problem, and nobody has contacted me -- I put my e-mail
address in the crash reports -- for details or debugging assistance
even though I'm quite competent to help debug a problem that happens
*every*time*I*import*photos.

10,000 photos and I'll sell you a luxury houseboat in Khartoum, Mr
Jobs. If you didn't suck less than the next guy I'd cut you off right
here.
