I just drag and drop Firefox on top of the old version. Always works for
me.

That brings me to the next bitch, installers. If we had properly designed
systems the only time you'd EVER need an installer is to replace core OS
components. OS X isn't quite that good, but it's close, SO WHY DO PEOPLE
STILL WRITE INSTALLERS? ARE THEY STUPID?
