Now, this is in no way mitigating the hate that is GNUinfo, or in fact any software that exists or is imagined, but (at least on debian-based systems) the cpp info-docs are in a seperate package to cpp itself, and if you don't have them installed, then info just goes and finds the man-page for cpp and displays /that/ instead. It does mention this at the top of the page, and in the status-bar at the bottom of the screen, but it's not the most obvious of things when you're already feeling pissed off at having to use GNUinfo.
