So. Fedora Core 4. Being a unix, you might expect useful features like
DELETING TEXT.

You'd be wrong.

Install FC4. Start an xterm. Run vim. Go into insert mode. Type hello
world. Press backspace. A happy '^?' will appear on your screen. Press
it again and you get ANOTHER ONE.

In other happy news, this issue was reported before the release but they
did it anyway:

Maybe Windows XP wasn't such a bad idea after all, at least it supports
editing text.
