I'm specifically referring to the configuration file
(Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf), hence section 5.

I invariably end up checking the spamassassin man page to remind myself
what the magic perldoc variable (Mail::SpamAssassin::Conf) is.

of course this just a specific instance of the tower of babel which is
on-line documentation.  (roff/texinfo/perldoc/sgml/html/etc...)
