At Educause this year, Mirapoint were handing out lapel buttons and
T-shirts saying, approximately, "I run Mirapoint -- ask me why".  I
really want to wear one of those into a meeting with $BOSSES.

Apparently there was some sort of "The Godfather" theme, and other
Mirabuttons had Godfather-derived slogans ("We'll make you an offer
you can't refuse") whose irony was evidently lost on the salesbots
at Miraland who only talk to goobers-cum-managers with born-again
dedications to ROI and bottom lines, who persuade themselves that what's
good for IT management is good for the country.
