Last time it happened to me (crash calling GenBuffersARB) I fixed this
by reinstalling drivers. Obviously, I had to spend an awful amount of
time searching for bugs before trying this solution.

How they manage to do a buggy installation process after all those years
is more than weird... and hateful by sure means.
