My current hate is MUAs that:

(1) Don't check email address syntax before trying to send a message.

(2) When the SMTP server says 501 they do not report the error to the user.

(3) They also do not give up trying to deliver the message.

(4) In fact they keep retrying every minute or so.

So far the culprits seem to be Outlook 2003 and Entourage. How does
Microsoft manage to keep fucking up their SMTP implementation?

Tony.
