The browser chrome takes a lot of space. For some transient web
app UI aspects, it's nice to be able to pop them up in a small
window. Popups of the

    <a onclick="return popup(this.href,350,150)" ...

variety are certainly more accessible than any DOM trickery and
AJAX dreck, and effortlessly compatible across browsers. Used
with restraint, they are a very useful tool.

Since there is an evident lack of such restraint, I also want it
to be dead easy to overrule the script author.
