Oh yeah, sure. lsof can take quite a while to run on a big machine. =20
I'd just love rm to slow down by that much for this fringe case.

Or maybe the kernel should maintain an extra hashmap so you can look =20
up processes using a file by filename effeciently?

Oh yes, I'm hating this already.
