If we continue to reason along these lines, we can get interesting results:

1. If you start using it and it seems simple & clean, stop now
2. If you start using it and it seems pointlessly complicated, keep trying
3. Repeat (2) until you know your hands are old enough
4. Since (3) is only decidable at the positive case, you might get stuck at (2)
5. One way to fix (4) is to add another axiom of thumb:
   If it's stupidly complicated, it's excellent in old hands.
6. So if you have a problem with (4), the problem is you.
