I would hesitate to try and get that running on FreeBSD or Mac OSX if I  
didn't have a port already, and I suspect Interix is less of a Linux  
lookalike than either. If that's your requirement, you'll probably have  
to stick with Cygwin.

Linux is UNIX, but UNIX is not Linux.
