I can do one better than that.

I'm using Safari on a Mac, I'm trying to view the Quicktime version of a
film at Atom Films. Their detection software fails to detect that I have
Quicktime 6 installed and demands that I download it before it'll let me.

It does think I have Realplayer, but it won't let me just open a URL
that Realplayer will handle, no, it insists on running it embedded. Which
doesn't work, because Realplayer doesn't want to embed in Safari... so
why did it think I had Realplayer? What was it detecting?

In fact... the only embedded player I have installed is... Quicktime 6.
