That's the sort of thing I like to know. > Actually, I like the way it is right now. I've got more than one account set up in Apple Mail, but they all basically "point" to the same email addresss. The network settings for each account are different, because the way I reach my mail server from home (without firewall) is different from the way I reach my mail server at work (through a firewall). This way I can lug around my iBook without having to click irrelevant (to me, because I know what I'm doing) warning dialogs every time my network conditions change. Also, Mail picks up silently that a connection starts working again, which is nice. Now I agree my needs are not your needs, so perhaps they should make this configurable in some way, but I hate to pick through pages-long check-box lists with sometimes stupid one line descriptions to find something like this. - - -John - -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin) iD8DBQFAmxeJYffhuCsYUkURAkanAJ9J8SN0l5Io+KIVmsrEOYzgG05TVQCghO6x vQHV9gp5ldgmOn+OV95EHlo= =I16y - -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (Darwin) iD8DBQFAmxhgYffhuCsYUkURAqYCAJ9U9qX6Lucjv2VGN32s/tD9W31aUwCcDi0l kkacifbJNa739hi/9KU0nII= =4XMg -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----There's stuff above here
