Keyboard error or keyboard not present - press F1 to continue Yes, that classic bit of stupidity. The keyboard is not plugged in - what use is pressing F1 on it going to make? So I plug the keyboard in. All 3 LEDs light up, and that's it. Pressing F1 has no effect. Grrr. Power cycle. I have used real machines. Real machines have precisely 2 connectors on the back - power and network. And they work. (OK. Pedants will note that realer still machines have multiple power inputs and multiple network cards, but that's a detail) Nicholas Clark
