I like how to this day people are still designing protocols that embed IP addresses in TCP streams and expect to be able to make arbitrary TCP connections. I like the way applications that use HTTP or HTTPS don't provide any mechanism to traverse a proxy or even to specify an alternate address. I like the way people still think that serving files from FTP only is a good idea. It's like there are people out there who have spent the last 15 years in some kind of cryogenic time capsule and think this is still the flat universally routed unfirewalled spam-free macro-virus-free Internet of 1989.
