There are a very small number of gtk+ applications I care about. avidemux being the big obvious one. There's simply no suitable alternative to it on OS X so I'm stuck dealing with the dependencies. As it happens, Fink has avidemux covered, but it's a very old version and I can't be arsed figuring out how to update Fink's wossname to use something a little more reccent. So I let Fink build the old version, which gets all the dependencies in place, and then build the current release myself. MattThere's stuff above here
