Ah, the lovely land of illogical ID requirements. When I went to get my passport a number of years ago, I didn't have a Driver's License, but I did have a state ID card. That wasn't good enough. I had to have a friend come in with me, present *his* Driver's License and take an oath that he had known me for more than some number of years. Now the amount of identification needed to get a State ID is *exactly the same* as that to get a Driver's License. The only difference is that you have to pass a test to get the DL. Of course, *those* requirements are fantastically small. (Though they may have changed in the last few years.) DarrellThere's stuff above here
