gf is planning to visit me in London over the bank-holiday weekend and, ever chivalrous, I offered to book her tickets for her. Of course, as you have to identify yourself with the payment card used on collection, I had to use hers. (Chivalrous, as I said). "No problem", I think. I'll create an account for her on thetrainline.com, fill in her details, log in as her, book the ticket, then fill in her card details. Of course, when I check * the confirmation has been sent to her email (good) * it is addressed to me (bad) * it has charged the payment to her credit card (good) * the transaction appears in my account list, not in hers (bad) So, perhaps I was still logged in as me. Which would make sense obviously as, a) I've just registered a new username, b) I've just logged in as that username c) There's no button saying "Logout - because I'm too fucking stupid to automatically log you off before you log in again" Hate. And a lesser evil, but something I forgot to hate in my last post: the "login" link is a link, not a button. The button next to it is to request a password reminder. Just to keep you on your toes. osfameron
