Oh crap. Yeah, I'm rather spoiled with Debian's huge repository, and
didn't realise the scattered sort-of equivalent that many sites together
are doesn't have the same availability guarantees.

Really?

I bought mine for two reasons:

1. The Mini is small and silent in a way that no PC for this price can
be

2. Expert computer dudes keep recommending OS X. Now that I have used it
for a month, I still don't really understand why. I'd recommend it over
Windows any time, and it's as usable as KDE on average (only because the
terminal focus hotkeys make up for a lot), so I can hopefully continue
to use it without hating it too much, but there's no "I love my mac"
from me. Well, I love the hardware.
