Well, I don't like those fancy IDE's much, but sometimes I work with Eclipse. Yesterday, a funny idea popped into my mind: Using eclipse, I wanted to print my code! In Linux! So I went to the "File" menu, searched the "Print..." entry -- but the "Print..." entry was greyed out. Wondering if I had ever seen a greyed out Print entry before, I searched through the preferences in case my printer wasn't set up correctly, but there was nothing to find. I learned that printing is not implemented yet. How stupid is that? I mean, this is Eclipse version 3.x.x, not some 0.x.alpha-pre-release. And why do they add greyed out menu entries for features not yet implemented? Well, I thought I needed no Eclipse to print my files, I have a2ps. But the indentation of the so printed source code sucks because fucking Eclipse can't produce files that look nice in plain text with monospaced fonts. Bah! I hate Eclipse. I hate proportional fonts. I hate tabs. Rebecca
