I once wrote what I hope was a fairly competent exception handler. Put out useful info about what the program was trying to do, where it was ... The users of this API thought it was too verbose so wrapped it with another exception handler that send "Unknown error Z999 - please contact system support". Quite what system support where supposed to do, as I expect they lacked the requisite telepathy. So next release I sent the useful bumph to a text file.There's stuff above here
