Sorry for multiple postings...

I forgot that perl DBD::SQLite bundles its own copy of sqlite.
So whatever sqlite you install at the OS level (via yum
or rpm or whatever) is irrelevant to perl (unlike
DBD::MySQL, and other database drivers that use the external
database client libraries).

So all you can do for now is downgrade to DBD::SQLite version 0.31,
which was the last version not released on top of sqlite3.
