You had the poor taste to be smart enough to tell that JS is rather a nice
language design that's unfortunately hobbled by its association with web
browsers. I was astonished when I reached that concludion myself, since I
was inclined to think the worst of a language that (as it turned out, through
no fault of its own) had caused me so much trouble over the years.

Makes me hate the twisty structure of the browsers all the more for what they
have done in hobbling Javascript.
