I think David was suggestiong that this is actually the case, but
positing an alternative universe in which 'iCalendar' would be able to
avoid doing what Sabrina finds so hateful, but that in the process it
would have to store additional information about the calendar, thereby
corrupting the iCal format in ways which are also hateful.
