Hopefully that will spread to other BSDs like Mac OS X (if Apple would pull their head out and dump HFS+ in the toxic waste bin... all the kewl stuff they "need" in HFS+ can be done at the vnode layer, honest, but let's not get into my hate for UNIX file systems that are not at least as good as UFS/FFS), and maybe even Linux eventually. I like the way NetApp exposes snapshots, personally.There's stuff above here
