Yes, it's hateful that the only people who paid attention to realtime in their desktop OS got boned by a fued between two executives. AmigaOS didn't follow through with everything you'd need from a hard realtime OS, but at least it started out with a realtime Exec. And when it looked like the people who bought the wreckage were getting in bed with QNX on a consumer RTOS, I was *really* excited. But it turned out they couldn't actually pay for it, and QNX hadn't actually been told they were doing it on spec, and were only sporadically interested in doing it on their own. > it's just a minor background hate... Yeh, I've gotten used to it. Right now the only RTOS you can buy consumer software for is Kadak AMX, and Palm's license keeps them from providing a real native dev kit...There's stuff above here
