Besides looking unprofessional, what does the quality of the CMS really have to do with the quality of the software, tho? > Why do people insist on generating front pages to sites > dynamically with php tinkertoys? HATE. It's a pretty vanilla Mediawiki installation. It worked an hour ago when I went there. > I'm in semiregular contact with one of the developers working > on Audacious, _yet another_ branch of xmms. Actually, Audacious started out as a continuation of the old, abandoned BMP codebase (aka BMP Classic) -- you know, "*we* want to continue trying, but we'll use a different name for the same project because we're *not* the same developer team." Are you confused yet? What really sucks is that everyone and their mother is now using Gstreamer. I sure hope that Gstreamer stops sucking, and soon, because else I'll never get away from BMP Classic. if there's one thing that the XMMS codebase has going for it, it's that it doesn't rely on a sprawling monster of an overengineered dependency to play a bit of music.
