Does that make a computer a device for recycling useless bits from discarded
e-mail into useful bits in computer programs? Should we rename /dev/null to
/dev/recycle? :-)

[Actually, I shouldn't joke, as Simon's point is a good one, succinctly
put and an accurate observation of what is often wrong with open source
projects]
