Sort of. CGI, CLI and GTK will pass stuff in different ways though. 

I think it's a neat idea but I think that, ultimately, it's going to be
limiting. Like I said I'm willing to be proved wrong though. I knwo it
sounds cheesy but do you want to knock up some example code for a nacho
replacement and a web based interface? 

Sorry I'm not being more helpful or more positive I'm really tired and
it's been a long week already (yeah, I know it's only wednesday :)
