: I hate the absurd claims that the absurd syntax is a good thing. There's : more than one way to do it, but if you don't think like Larry : Wall none of those ways match the way you're looking for. I /especially/ hate the way that the ten million ways to do it mean that you can never ever just look at someone else's code and easily see what they're doing -- again, unless you actually are Larry Wall -- because they inevitably chose a way you've never seen before and which doesn't actually make any sense at all just looking at it.
