Still laughing....

I won't start in on CPAN's crappy defaults which lead me to wait 10
minutes for Net::FTP to time out before it falls back on the ftp or wget
command I already told it about. Or wait, I guess I just started in.

Or indeed with Debian hell itself, though I grant I haven't touched the
stuff in years. I'll agree that CPAN is better than all these, except
ports.

But portage/emerge kicks all their pants.
